The first film, Boulevard of Illusions – Learning from New Belgrade, reflects the street culture history of the city through posters, graffiti and road signs. The narration also consists of different perspectives on urbanism. Made in 2007, the film is described as a “road movie in New Belgrade”.

The second film to be screened is Conceptual Paradise (2006) and focuses on both the Conceptual Art of the 1960s and 70s and present-day conceptual strategies. Stefan Roemer evokes the discussions that led to “Conceptual Art” in the 1960s and that have developed some of the most relevant questions for art today. It becomes clear that conceptual art is a formation eluding a coherent definition. The history of this art form is also characterized by fights related to representation strategies and hegemonies.
