Ramandeep Khera, Lok Sabha Revenue Officer (LRO) in Vadodara, said: “Any person who is a citizen of India, who declares that he is not a member of any other political party and is between 18-35 years of age can enrol as the member of the Youth Congress.”

The membership fee will be Rs 15 for the general category and Rs 10 for SC/ST category, he added.

Addressing a media briefing on Sunday, one Congress leader said: “The probable structure will be such that there will be 16 members selected at the Assembly level. Eight of them will be delegates and the rest will be office-bearers. Seats for office-bearers will reserved under Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, women and minority categories.”

Besides, the office bearers will comprise of a president, vice-president and general secretary.

Other eight elected delegates will represent Youth Congress to the Lok Sabha.
