Ludhiana, February 8 In a special meeting of District Consumer Protection Council Members’ Association, held under the chairmanship of D.D. Bawa at Club Road, all the members appreciated the step taken by District Food, Civil Supplies (DFSC) and Consumer Affairs department to streamline the LPG distribution in Ludhiana district. The association noted that unauthorised users of domestic LPG were identified during the drive.

LPG dealers were directed by DFSC to supply LPG cylinders to consumers at fixed prices and were also warned against pilferage. District authorities should continue the campaign to safeguard interests of LPG consumers so that the back log in supply is cleared, said Dr S.B. Pandhi from the consumer council.The members of District Consumer Protection Council demanded that representatives of consumers must be included in the complaint redressal forum, which was recently constituted by DFSC.
