Damodar Karandak: MMSC beat GS Moze

Pune MMSC Law College beat GS Moze College, Yerawada by one wicket in the Damodar Karandak Cricket Tournament organised by the Pune District Cricket Association and played at the Fergusson College cricket ground on Friday.

GS Moze won the toss and elected to bat first. They were bundled out cheaply for a score of 107. Umar Shaikh was the main bowler for MMSC, picking up four wickets for ten runs. Sushant Borkar supported him well by picking up two wickets. In reply, MMSC achieved their target with one wicket to spare. Umar Shaikh top scored with 32 runs and Kishore Jakate supported him well with a handy 27. Satish Pathare was GS Moze’s best bowler picking up three crucial wickets.

Results:
Maaeers Arts, Science, Commerce College : 181 all out in 38.3 overs: (Nitikesh Singh 30, Aditya Kale 26, Jayraj Roy 23, Gurupreet Singh 3/15, Jacob Dongle 3/40, Sachin Bhagat 2/30) bt Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce : 146 all out in 25 overs ( Vikram Brid 22, Jacob Dongre 21, Pravin Salunkhe 20, Nitikesh Singh 4/43, Avinash Banjara 2/21).
