Pune, March 2 The Nrityakala Mandir organised a classical and folk dance programme, Nrityanjali at the Ramkrishna More Auditorium in Chinchwad recently. The programme saw the participation of the Bharatnatyam diploma course students from various age groups, in presence of the founder, Tejashri Adige.

The programme was presided over by Fatehchand Ranka. Actor Priyanka Yadav was the chief guest. Also, present athe occasion were l Pravin Tupe, Nankishore Kapote, Gulab Biradawde, former mayor Mangala Kadam and PCMC assistant municipal commissioner Vijaysinh Deshmukh among others. The programme began with the traditional 'Ganesh stavan', 'Guruvandana' and 'Natraj stuti'. Later, the meritorious students of the year and the 18 students of the academy who had performed at Mauritius were awarded with a memento and certificate by the dignitaries.

Yadav felicitated Madhura Gondhalekar, an awardee of the Delhi Cultural Centre's National Scholarship. Saroj Rao and Gauri Vaidya compered the programme and Avinash Adige presented the vote of thanks, stated Tejashre e Adige, chief of the Nrityakala.
