Dawar said, “I am the one who got tickets sanctioned for majority of them and if today they are pointing fingers at me, it is really surprising. Still I am ready to sort out the differences.”
The councillors meanwhile are planning to meet Mohsina Kidwai, incharge of the party affairs in the state soon to lodge their complaint against Dawar. “I have no intimation about this. AICC spokesperson Manish Tiwari had spoken to me and I had made myself clear and hence I do not know where the problem lies,” he said.
Manish Tiwari meanwhile is holding meetings with group leaders, councillors, former MLAs, rebel Congress workers to hear their grievances. He is giving the workers a message to remain united as the elections were round the corner. Talking to Newsline, Tiwari confirmed the same and said, “The party is already united, but still I am hearing out the differences if any.”
He agreed that councillors had some problems, but according to him, this was not a very big issue. The agitated councillors meanwhile are all set to meet him on Saturday to plan the next course of action.
