New Delhi With the government falling short by almost Rs 6,000 crore in funds for the 2010 Commonwealth Games projects, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, while addressing the annual meeting with bureaucrats at the Delhi Secretariat, made it clear that the priority of the government lies in completing all Games-related projects by 2010.

The CM has asked all secretaries to prepare a five-year action plan. All plans must be finalised, consolidated and integrated within a month, the chief minister reportedly said.

Dikshit has asked all infrastructure development-related departments to draw up a step-by-step plan to ensure that all projects are completed on time. She added that every year the best performing department would be awarded the chief minister’s trophy.
