Delhi Transco ups its capacity to 7000 MVA

New Delhi To strengthen and augment its supply lines, Delhi Transco Limited has increased its transformation capacity from 6700 MVA to 7000 MVA. The transmission utility will also undertake various projects, which will be completed before the Commonwealth Games. “We need to ensure that our transmission capacities are up to the mark by 2010. By then our transformation capacity will increase by another 1000 MVA, more than what is prescribed as essential by the Central Electricity Authority,” a senior Delhi Transco member said.
