Delhi wakes up to ‘warm’ Saturday

New Delhi A pleasant and warmer morning greeted Delhiites on Saturday, with the minimum temperature settling at a comfortable 7.9 degrees Celsius.

On Friday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 5.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum was recorded at 21 degrees.

The Met department said the maximum temperature will hover around 18 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around nine degrees on Sunday. There may be mist and light fog in the morning, the department said.

So far, this January has been warmer as compared to last year, when the minimum temperature dropped to below five degrees a number of times.
