Pune DesignSpokes Software and Services, a firm that specialises in CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) solutions, today announced the launch of its operations in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, N Venkatesh, CEO, DesignSpokes, said, "Our initial attempt is to offer a range of solutions spanning from CAE consulting, CAE related Software and Hardware products, product development, prototyping and value added HR solutions in the CAE domain."

We expect the employee strength in our Pune office to go upto 25 by the end of this year."

On being asked if it was a good idea to start a firm in the throes of a full-scale recession, Venkatesh said, " If we can establish a relationship based on trust with our clients now, we will be part of their plans when the economy recovers, and they bounce back."

The company is working with clients across the industrial spectrum, including Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, Power and Energy, Rotating Machinery, MEMS, Electronics, Bioemedical and Bio Tech.
