Firangi Paani branches out to Bandra

The Andheri hotspot Firangi Paani has opened a sister at hip Bandra. The new Firangi Paani is located in the Kenilworth Mall, off Linking Road, and opened its doors last week without much ceremony. And yet, a steady flow of patrons are stopping by, even on a Monday night.

The new outlet doesn’t see much variation in ambience from the original but suffers from space constraints and is merely a smaller version. However, the management has tried to retain the sense of space. The Irish pub décor, with wooden furniture, green leather couches, colourful wall murals, eclectic armour pieces and other countryside elements have been replicated to lend the warmth of a cosy roadside inn. The huge bar area and a strong fleet of bartenders ensures quick service.

However, the menu, currently an introductory variety, varies. Unlike the Andheri outlet, the BJN Group, which owns the chain, does not plan to introduce a full-fledged main course here, given the spatial constraints. The drinks menu is more than impressive though.

There’s more—another branch at Chembur in the offing.
