Dayanand Medical College and Hospital organised a free medical camp in which over 800 patients were examined in two camps held at village Khubbe in Barnala and Barnala Welfare Club.
The Consultants and Senior Residents who participated in the Barnala welfare camp included Dr Varun Mehta and Dr Jagdeep Singh (Gastroenterology), Dr. Naveen Mittal and Dr Jasmine (Endocrinology) and the Consultants and Residents participated in Gurdwara Singpura Sahib camp include Dr Lalit Kumar (Medicine),Dr Sunil Juneja and Dr Harneet Kaur (Gynae) and Dr Sanjeev Singla(Surgery).
During the camp, the doctors advised the patients to take proper precautions for leading a better and healthy life. The patients were made aware of maintaining proper hygienic conditions in their surroundings and lead a well- balanced life by taking nutritious diet and regular exercises.
According to Medical Suptd. Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina, DMCH, being a tertiary care hospital, is committed in it social responsibility of providing free medical camps for the benefit of public at regular intervals. Such medical camps will definitely contribute to create a better healthy and hygienic environment.
Dr Daljit Singh, Principal, DMCH, informed that in its endeavor of organising “Free Medical Camps”, the hospital has reinstated its commitment to render quality health care services.
