DPRO Darshan Singh given warm farewell

Ludhiana The District Public Relation Officer (DPRO), Darshan Singh, who is retiring on Saturday after serving the Public Relations Department for nearly 35 years, was given a warm farewell by the officials of the Public Relations Department, personnel of the district administration and local mediapersons on Friday.

Singh has been serving as DPRO in Ludhiana since January 24, 1994. Prior to that, he had served as assistant public relations officer (APRO). Singh who joined the department on February 13, 1973 has completed 35 years of service with a small gap of one year.

Speaking on this occasion, Darshan Singh said that it was a very satisfying experience for him to serve as a DPRO at Ludhiana. He thanked the local media for giving him support during his service.

On this occasion, the mediapersons and the employees of the district administration and DPR department presented bouquets to Singh.
