Dr Kidney’s aide sent to judicial custody till March 7

Ambala, February 25 Dr Upender, an accomplice of Dr Amit Kumar, has been sent to judicial custody till March 7. Upender is currently lodged in the Tihar Jail in Delhi.

Special CBI Duty Magistrate Sunita Grover also ordered that his three other accomplices, Dr Saraj, Giassudin and Jagdish, be produced on March 7 as well.

Amit Rishi, Dr Upender cousel requested the court that since Upender was a heart patient and undergoing treatment in Delhi, he be kept at Tihar Jail only. His request was however turned down by the court, which ordered that he would remain lodged at Ambala Jail.

Meanwhile, Dr Amit, who was taken to Jaipur on production warrants, has been sent to judicial custody. He will be brought to Ambala to appear in the special CBI court on March 7.
