Dr MS Randhawa remembered

Ludhiana, February 1 DR MS Randhawa, whose birth anniversary falls on February 2, was remembered today for his contributions in art, administration and promotion of Punjabi culture.

PAU has brought out a special February issue of the farm magazines, Changi Kheti and Progressive Farming, which were released today in the committee room of the Vice-Chancellor. Vice-Chancellor Dr Kang described Dr Randhawa as an amalgam of art, science and administration.

The magazine release was first activity of the series planned to celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr Randhawa. On this occasion, a scientific group from the local Christian Medical College and Hospital including its Director, Dr John Pramod, Principal Dr John Abraham, Head of Research, Dr Jeyaraj Pandian, Head of Innovation, Dr Neeta Kang and Public Relation Manager Aman Sharma, were also present.

Dr Pramod offered to contribute articles on topics related to human health-care relevant to intensive-agriculture for Changi Kheti and Progressive Farming. The PAU Deans, Directors and other officers besides faculty members from the Centre of Communication, Language and Culture were also present at the function.
