Ahmedabad, January 31 Passengers and staff of Air India’s London-Ahmedabad flight had a tough time handling a 21-year-old youth, who created ruckus onboard allegedly in an inebriated state. The accused, an NRG, Rajesh Khuti was later handed over to Sardarnagar police.

Born and brought up in London, Khuti hails from Porbandar and was one of the passengers onboard the Air India Flight, AI 132, which landed on Sardar Patel International airport here on Thursday morning. Khuti got drunk onboard and allegedly started misbehaving with one of the air hostesses. The youth entered into a fight with the flight staff and his co-passengers, when they tried to intervene.

Sardarnagar police were intimated about the on-air ruckus and they apprehended Khuti soon after he alighted from the flight.

“A sudden commotion was caused on the airport premises when a drunk Khuti created a scene, in an attempt to resist arrest. He was later bailed out,” said Sardarnagar Police Inspector A S Rathod.
