Pune Not many days have passed since the country had woken up to the biggest ever corporate fraud by Satyam. But D S Kulkarni Developers (DSK) in the city has a different story-of people hailing them for their exemplary honesty, transparency and concern towards their consumers, which was evident at a function organised to give them back a cheque of Rs 2.5 crore, which was kept as a deposit with Indian Consumer Forum, at Kesari wada on Saturday.

DSK group had announced a gift scheme three years ago during the sale of DSK Vishwa flats. To put credibility into the scheme, the group had asked the Grahak Panchayat to work as a custodian and had deposited a cheque equal to the amount of gifts with them. According to the agreement, if any complaint regarding non-issuance of gifts come, the forum would give the same from the amount deposited with them. But, in last there years no such complaint has been received by the forum and hence the cheque of Rs 2.5 crore was returned back to the company. “The success behind any project or scheme is based on the consumer satisfaction. DSK had always strived for this and hence success was always with them. This should be taken as an example by others and work with utmost transparency”, said Bindumadhav Joshi, Founder of Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchayat.
