“The number of bright students joining the university is the main force behind the University’s excellence. I am glad we have such a large number of courses to draw the brighter students toward us,” DU V-C Deepak Pental told Newsline.
Pental says he plans to invest the grants in developing infrastructure at the teaching and research level. Three new courses in M Tech (nuclear physics), nano materials and organic synthesis would be started by the next session and laboratory equipment for biology, chemistry and physics will also be improved, varsity officials said.
The V-C said facilities at the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) would also be upgraded.
