New Delhi, March 5
From now on, colleges in Delhi University will have to get advertisements verified from the university before they are placed in newspapers. Dean of Colleges Nayanjot Lahiri sent a letter to every college on Tuesday, asking them to forward the drafts of advertisements relating to vacancies, for verification from the Liaison Officer. “It has been brought to my notice that some colleges have been issuing advertisements for filling up teaching and non-teaching posts, which inadvertently seem to be at variance with the roster with regard to particular positions,” Lahiri’s letter stated.
