Ludhiana A large number of students from Ludhiana and its neighbouring areas participated in a seminar on education prospects in New Zealand, organised by BetterThink, the language and study abroad division of Top Careers and You (TCY), at its Sarabha Nagar centre, on Tuesday.

Peter Anderson, a representative of Computer Power, a New Zealand government-recognised education institution, addressed the students on various opportunities available for Indian students desiring to pursue their education in New Zealand.

“In contrast to Australia, UK and US, New Zealand is known for its affordable and quality education,” he said.

He added that one of the salient features of education in his country is its diploma courses which promise permanent residency on completion of the course.

“Education in New Zealand is more affordable than other countries and a student can get a world-class education along with a chance to work for certain specified hours per week,” he added.
