Eight new members for PMC civic panel

Pune The general body of the Pune Municipal Corporation appointed eight new members for the civic standing committee on Wednesday. The new members include four from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), two from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and one each from Shiv Sena and MNS.

The members include, Dipali Dhumal, Nilesh Nikam, Sunil Bibwe, Hanif Shaikh (NCP), Ujwal Keskar, Medha Kulkarni (BJP), Vijay Deshmukh (Shiv Sena) and rajendra Vagaskar (MNS).

Out of the 16-member standing committee, the two-year term of eight panel members is getting over next month. The retiring members are Sandeep Ladkat, Alka Khade, Sunil Bankar, Shankar Beldare -Patil (NCP), Dilip Umbarkar, Jyotsna Sardeshpande (BJP), Mahadev Babar (Shiv Sena) and Vasant More (MNS).
