Tournaments highest rated player with a handicap of +7, Mazzini began by converting a penalty soon after the throw-in before setting up another for Kalvi.

Adhiraj Singh and Angad Kalan scored one goal apiece as the first chukker ended with Horse & Wagon holding on to a slender half-a-goal lead. Their inexperience was evident in the second chukker with Horse & Wagon committing a lot of fouls, allowing Elevation to take the lead. The champions scored 7 goals in the third & fourth chukker while conceding only one to send a warning to other teams.
