Escaped prisoner nabbed at Sikka

Rajkot Five days after four prisoners fled from Jamnagar police custody, one of them was nabbed on Monday from Sikka in Jamnagar district. Umar Hussein alias Jaku Bhaiya was caught from Sikka town, 30 kilometers from Jamnagar, said police.

Umar (20), Javed Isha Ibrahim (21), Hussein Aamin Sadik (20), and Hussein Adam (20), had escaped from police custody at the Dhrol bus stop near Jamnagar on January 15 when they were being escorted back to the Jamnagar jail after attending the hearing in the Bhachau court in Kutch in a case of robbery.

Four constables, who were escorting them, were detained and a case of negligence of duty has been registered against them.
