Exam phobia claims a life in Junagadh

Junagadh, March 7 One more case of a student committing suicide due to exam pressure has surfaced in Junagadh. The deceased has been identified as Ulfan Shaikh (17), a student of Class XII, and a resident of Narsinh Mehata Chowra near Sukhnath Chowk. The exams are scheduled to start from Monday and the girl ended her life around 9 pm on Thursday, said the police, adding that the girl hanged herself to death.

Sukhnath Chowk Police has now started an investigation into the case. This is third instance of a student taking his/her life due to study pressure, in the last three months, in the city.
