They have written a letter to the Army Chief to apprise him about the allegations against the officer.

“The officer is facing charges involving moral turpitude and corrupt practices. Under such circumstances, allowing him to hold the highest judicial office of Judicial Advocate General in the Army will be against the service norms of the defence force. How can the Central government and Chief of the Army Staff expect fair legal advise from a tainted person? How can such a person inspire the soldiers and general public,” said Colonel (retd) SK Aggarwal.

Aggarwal further added that the officer continues to hold the highest judicial appointment in the Army and vested with and exercising full command over the officers of department even while subjected to court of inquiry.

Under such circumstances, the true facts will never come out.
