What’s on your iPod?
It’s an eclectic mix of hip-hop, romantic numbers, retro and some of my favorite Kishore Kumar tracks.

What’s your DVD pick?
Good Will Hunting — it’s an amazingly well-made film with outstanding performances by Robin Williams and Matt Damon. When I really want to laugh out loud, I’d probably watch my own cross-over film, The Angrez — it’s rib-tickling funny.

Your favourite romantic scene in a movie?
In the climax of the movie Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imraan Khan comes to the airport to stop Genelia D’Souza from going and breaks through the security cordon. Finally, when he manages to find Genelia, the security pin him to the ground, so he starts singing Tera mujhse hai pehle ka naata koi and she sees him and comes running to him and hugs him.

Which heroine you would love to go on a date with and why?
Scarlet Johansson — she is a great combination of beauty, talent and intelligence.

Which dialogue have you mouthed in front of the mirror the most?
Amitabh Bachchan’s line from Agneepath: Nam Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, baap ka naam Deenanath Chauhan, gaon, Maandva. I think the way he delivered it was very powerful.

Who inspired you to become an actor?
Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan at different points of time while I was growing up have been instrumental in inspiring me.

The worst film you ever watched?
I was thoroughly disappointed with Tashan.

Which film you wish you could be a part of?
I love action-adventure films. I would love to play the part of an undercover spy like James Bond.

What makes you an actor?
My love for studying characters and then portraying them on screen.

Quiz: From which film is this line: Sarzameen-e-Hindustan assalaam walikum, Mera naam Badshah Khan hai, Ishq mera mazhab, Mohabbat mera imaan.
Well I have definitely heard this line. I think it’s an Amitabh Bachchan flick, but I can’t remember which one. (Correct Answer: Khuda Gawah)
