What’s on your iPod?
I’m listening to Pink Floyd’s Time, my all-time favourite track. I’m also listening to a lot of Bollywood masala, like Desi Girl and Oh Sexy Mama and Aasma, which are from my next release, 13B.

What’s your DVD pick?
I can’t say I have one because I never watch the same movie twice. But that said, I’ll agree that some classics like The Godfather, Mughal-e-Azam, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge deserve to be in everyone’s collection.

Your favourite romantic scene in a movie?
The scene from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai where Kajol comes all decked-up and and Shah Rukh Khan tells her that she doesn’t need any of it as she’s beautiful even without it all.

Which actor you would love to go on a date with and why?
Aamir Khan; he’s got such intensity. I would just like him to look into my eyes deeply and never stop looking.

Which dialogue have you mouthed in front of the mirror the most?
“Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” to which the mirror replies “Your mother”.

Who inspired you to become an actor?
Nobody inspired me; I think it was my destiny. I started out with modeling, did a bit of theatre and then films. It all just happened to me.

The worst film you ever watched?
I don’t think I can answer that. Even if a film’s plot fails, as a technical person, an artiste, I look at the technical details and appreciate them. I’m part of the industry and don’t think any movie is bad.

Which film you wish you could be a part of?
I wish I could’ve been a part of Mughal-e-azam or Pakeezah. Those classics can never be remade.

What makes you an actor?
Being well-educated is very important. It gives you perspective and widens your vision. You may have the talent, but if you don’t have the education, your view gets very limited.

Quiz: From which film is this line: Sapne bhi samundar ke lahron ki tarah, haqeeqat ki chattanon se takra kar toot jaate hain.
Deewar (Correct).
