What’s on your iPod?
Songs sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle.

What’s your DVD pick?
All Guru Dutt films and, more recently, Dev.D.

Your favourite romantic scene in a movie?
Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala stuck in a dark corridor in a radio station in Dil Se. With people passing by, SRK asks Manisha in many different ways why she doesn’t love him. What I love about the scene is his bowled-over, blind, unquestionable, unstoppable passion and obsession for her. The play of light and sound only adds to the enigma.

Which hero you would love to go on a date with and why?
Brad Pitt — he makes me weak in the knees.

Which dialogue have you mouthed in front of the mirror the most?
An award acceptance speech.

Who inspired you to become an actor?
Smita Patil.

The worst film you ever watched?
Righteous Kill — Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

Which film you wish you could be a part of?
Chicago and Dev.D.

What makes you an actor?
The madness to discover different personalities through every film. I can’t imagine any two days to be the same. Every moment is different.

Quiz: Mai jo bhi hoon, is wakt tumhare maalik ka maalik hoon bete.
Don’t know. (Correct answer: Trishul)
