Faizabad, January 2 Chief Judicial Magistrate of Faizabad Shailesh Tiwari has issued a contempt notice to Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Zone, A K Jain and Ayodhya Circle Officer S C Pandey. The court is hearing matters related to the disappearance and murder case of Faizabad law student Shashi.

On December 17, the CJM directed the police to take appointments from forensic laboratories for conducting narco tests on prime accused Vijaysen and inform the court.

But the police, instead of informing the court first, announced the dates to the media on December 30.

He said the tests would be done on January 17 and 18 in Bangalore.

Terming the act as contempt of the legal process of the court, the CJM issued a notice to the IG and the investigating officer.
