Farewell function held for class XII students of NM Jain school

Ludhiana, February 22 Nauria Mal Jain Senior Secondary School today organised a farewell function for the out-going students of class XII and also awarded prizes to the meritorious students.

On this occasion, Baldev Raj Jain, president of the school, was the chief guest. While appreciating the efforts of students as well as of teachers, Jain honoured about 25 teachers who worked hard to achieve 100% result in board classes. The teachers were given away trophies.

The meritorious students, who excelled in academics, sports and other co-curricular activities were also given awards by the chief guest. Wishing the outgoing students good luck, Jain exhorted them to do hardwork with dedication and discipline in life. O.P. Arora, the school principal, read out the annual report and reflected on the achievements of the school in the current academic session.

K.K. Joshi, the vice-principal of the school, and Darshna Rani, the officiating head-mistress of the school, also addressed the students.

The farewell function kicked off with a welcome song while other cultural items included a solo dance by Muskan to the tune of the song “Mayya Yashoda.” The function concluded with a delightful “bhangra” performance by the students.
