Sajid Khan sweats over hosting the next Star Screen Awards

It is his fourth year as the host of Screen Awards and Sajid Khan is all set to set the stage on fire. The verdict was that last year’s Screen Awards show was the best among others, and this year too, Khan plans to out-do his own act. If he wowed the audience with his towel-dropping act, inspired by Ranbir Kapoor in Saawariya, this year he plans to bring the house down with his Dostana act, by appearing in micro shorts. “This is my fourth uninterrupted year of hosting the Screen Awards. Last year, I appeared in a towel, this year I will be in briefs. God knows what I will have to do next year,” he laughs.

To achieve an enviable body, somewhere close John Abraham’s, Sajid claims he’s losing 200 grams every day. A rigorous workout and measured diet are de rigeur. His aim is to lose five kilos in the next 10 days. “I may not become like John Abraham, who has a superior body, but at least I will be fit enough to strip down to briefs,” laughs the super-host. John has been his inspiration to pump muscles and lose weight. His exercise regime includes jogging 10 kilometres, two hours of weights, more than 300 pushes and 1,000 crunches, he says. Sajid is also following a diet: it consists of four toasts, a bowl of soup, two rotis, one tandoori chicken, protein shakes and Marie biscuits. Besides Dostana, Sajid along with Shreyas Talpade plans to spoof Fashion, complete with a wardrobe malfunction!
