Four labourers killed in road accident in Limkheda taluka

Dahod Four people were killed on Sunday and 13 others injured after a truck carrying labourers turned turtle in Limkheda taluka in Dahod district, the police said.

The incident occurred when a truck loaded with roof tiles and carrying labourers lost control near Valundi village in Limkheda taluka and overturned.

Four people were killed on the spot, while the 13 injured have been referred to Godhra civil hospital and the Limkheda government hospital, police said.

All the labourers belonged to Devgadh Baria taluka and were returning home from Morbi in Rajkot district for Holi festival.

A case has been registered at the Limkheda police station and investigations are on, police added.
