Free medical camp to be held at DMCH tomorrow

Ludhiana As part of its endeavour to hold free in-hospital medical camps for the benefit of the people of the city, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMC&H) is organising a free medical camp on July 5 at the OPD block of the hospital. Consultants from the specialties of Medicine, Pediatrics, Skin, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Eye, ENT and Urology will be examining the patients during the camp.

According to the Medical Superintendent, Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina, DMCH being a tertiary-care hospital is committed to provide free medical camps for the benefit of public at regular intervals. With the onset of monsoon and possibility of out-break of various viral infections, organising such medical camps definitely contributed to creating a better healthy and hygienic environment.

The patients coming to the camp for consultation will be given free registration, free urine routine test and 20% concession on OPD investigation and indoor treatment in general ward, excluding usage of medical equipments. Free registration of senior citizens above 65 years of age will also be done under the Senior Citizen Care line. The principal of DMCH, Dr Daljit Singh informed that in its endeavour of organising “Free in-hospital medical check-up camp” once in a month, the hospital has stated its commitment to render quality health care services.
