Annual function for special kids held at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27
An annual function of special cell was held at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, on Sunday. Nearly 50 students and their parents participated in recreational activities at the function that was held for the third time after the cell’s inception in 1984. It is one of the oldest schools for the mentally challenged children. A cultural programme was also organised by the children. Programme convenor Neelu Sareen said, “The main aim of the event was to allow parents’ interaction so that they can share their experiences and problems with their counterparts. Such events prove to be very therapeutic.” The event also gave an opportunity to parents to interact with their children and see for themselves the talent their wards possessed.
