GNIMT students shine in PTU results

Ludhiana Ludhiana's Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GNIMT) has bagged the first four MBA positions and three BBA merit rankings in examinations held by the Punjab Technical University.

Chanpreet Kaur scored 90.6 per cent to win the gold medal, while Megha Jain’s 90 per cent and Preeti Kalsi’s 88.8 per cent won them silver and bronze, respectively. Jaspreet Kaur ranked fourth with 88.5 per cent, marking the first time in PTU history that a college has swept the first four positions.

Congratulating students on their performance, GNIMT director Dr (Col) H.S. Singha remarked that the college had also won MBA and MCA gold medals in 2006 and silver and bronze medals in 2007

In BBA exams, Divya Jain scored 86.24 per cent to secure first position and a gold medal. Manpreet Kaur and Shivali came in at seventh and ninth to win merit certificates and a mention on the merit list. GNIMT had previously bagged the BBA gold, silver and bronze in 2002 and managed gold and silver in 2007.
