"Their role is to strike a balance in news presentation. At the same time, they should go beyond the news. Any news which presents the happenings as they occur is no news. A journalist should try to find out real reasons for the occurrence," Joshi said at the Journalists Day celebrations organised by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Shramik Patrakar Sangh.
