Mumbai, January 4 Andheri’s Rajhans A and B teams had a fruitful day as their seniors defeated St. Anthony’s (Malad) 2-0, while the juniors scored a solitary goal win over St. Xavier’s (Andheri) in their respective groups of the MSSA-NIKE Inter-School (Under-12) football tournament, co-sponsored by Saran Sports and played at Schools Sports Centre, Azad Maidan, here on Friday.

A goal apiece by Karzan Kamdin and Tarun Reddy helped Smt. Livabatibai Podar from Santacruz prevail over St. John the Evangelist 2-1. The consolation goal for the losers came through Utkarshs Ghadi.

Results: B-12-III-H: P.G.Garodia (Ghatkopar) 1 (Jinit Patel) bt Greenlawns 0. B-12-III-I: Rajhans A (Andheri) 2 (Tushar Kumar, Gautam Medikona) bt St. Anthony’s (Malad) 0. B-12-III-J: St. Joseph’s (Vikhroli) 2 (Ashwin Koommagalla, Adyta Kolge) bt St.Xavier’s (Andheri) 0. Rajhans B (Andheri) 1 (Virag Mehta) but St.Xavier’s (Andheri) 0. B-12-III-K: Infant Jesus 2 (Prithvi Mistry, Akshay Jain) drew with CNM (Vile Parle) 2 (Tej Bhid, Yash Bhargav). B-12-III-M: Smt Lilavatibai Podar (Santacruz) 2(Farzan Kamdin, Tarun Reddy) bt St. John the Evangelist (Andheri) 1 (Utkarsh Ghadi).
