Dhindsa appealed to the students to keep away from drugs. He also expressed hope that educational institutes will help in the development of sports.
Dhindsa said that the state government was determined to eradicate the menace of drugs. He said, “We are creating more job opportunities. Efforts are being made to control the drug menace be controlled.” Dhindsa also announced a grant of Rs 1 lakh for the college.
Meanwhile, Harmanjeet Singh was awarded the best athlete in the men’s category while Gurleen Mann was adjudged the best women athlete in the college. College principal Daya Singh Dhaliwal was also present at the function.
