Greby, Benoy shine in Bosco win

Mumbai, January 11 The duo of Greby Palatty and Benoy Parekh were in their elements as Don Bosco A (Matunga) defeated Ryan International (Malad) 24-14 in their concluding tie in the four-team super league of the MSSA-Inter-School Mini basketball tournament at St. Joseph's school court, Wadala, on Friday. Don Bosco will play St Joseph's for the super league title. In the girls section, St. Anthony's (Chembur) have assured themselves for a place in the final.

Results: GIRLS: Dhirubhai Ambani (Bandra) bt Auxilium Convent (Wadala) 6-5; St. Anthony's (Chembur) bt Villa Theresa A (Peddar Rd) 21-6. BOYS: St. Joseph's (Wadala) bt Campion A (Cooperage) 30-17; Don Bosco A (Matunga) bt Ryan Intl (Malad) 24-14.

Christ Church routed
The Fernandes, Kerick and Raynier, were the stars in Don Bosco (Matunga)’s 8-0 win over Christ Church in Group A of Division I in the U-12 inter-school football tournament, at Azad Maidan. Kerick booted home four goals, while Raynier had two to his credit. Bradley Rodrighues and Manjot Behuait completed the tally.
