New Delhi, January 19 A son of a businessman has been charged of instigating a neighbour’s security guard to rape his domestic help in front of him. Police said Atul Hora (30), who is at large, wanted to see “live pornography”.

The security guard, Sameer Rai (22), was arrested yesterday for rape charges. He told police officers that Atul planned the rape. Atul had befriended his neighbour's security guard in New Friends Colony for the purpose.

He saw the maid being raped and then threatened the victim with dire consequences if she reported the matter.

The 18-year-old girl from Jharkhand started work at Atul’s house, (A-174) a few days ago after being placed through an agency in Kotla Mubarakpur.

On January 11, Atul called Rai, a guard at house A-175, to his place during the day when his wife had gone out. He had befriended Rai and had drinks with him on many occasions, police said.

“He asked Rai to rape the help and then let her go. She reported the matter at the New Friends Colony Police Station. She was in trauma and had gone somewhere during last few days, police said. After her medical examination, she was sent to a hospital,” a senior police officer said.

Atul has been booked under Section 109 (abetment of crime) by the police but he hasn't been arrested. Rai is a native of Bihar and had been posted in the neighbourhood a few months ago. Atul’s father is reportedly a businessman, while he himself stays at home most of the time, police said.
