Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle holds youth festival

Ludhiana, January 31 Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle today organised a school-level youth festival, dedicated to the tercentenary celebrations of the installment of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Hargobind Sahib Memorial Trust, Sidhwan, was the host on the occasion.

The events including vaar gayan, kaveeshari, poetry recitation etc. The results are as follows, in the order of merit.

Vaar singing: Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School, Spring Dale Public School, Girls Public School, Muradpura. Kaveehsari: Government Senior Secondary School, Bharat Nagar; Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town; Girls Public School, Muradpura. The fourth position was bagged by Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School and Guru Nanak Bal Vikas Kendar, Jagraon.

Poetry recitation: Somprati Jain of DAV Public School; Ripanpreet Kaur of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town; second, Amarjeet Kaur of R S Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar; Ramanpreet Kaur of Sikh Missionary Public School, Salem Tabri.
