Metropolitan Court allowing the CID to conduct narco-analysis on them.

The two sadhaks — Yogesh Bhati and Pankaj Saxena — are witness in a case wherein bodies of two minor children from the Ashram-run gurukul were found at the riverbed of Sabarmati, two days after they had gone missing in July 2008.

Sessions Judge P B Desai allowed the CID Crime to conduct the test before March 13 at the Forensic Science Laboratory, Gandhinagar. The two, meanwhile, can approach the higher judiciary to challenge the order.

According to CID Crime officials, Bhati and Saxena were in the Ashram when the boys — Dipesh Vaghela and Abhishek Vaghela — went missing on the night of July 3.

The officials had taken statements of the two sadhaks, following which they were subjected to lie-detector test.

During their lie-detection, officials got an indication that they might be hiding something. They believe that Bhati and Saxena must be knowing

if there was any foul play behind the deaths.

So, they approached the Ahmedabad Metropolitan Court seeking permission to conduct narco-analysis test on the two and got the permission, which was later challenged in the Sessions Court.

The prosecution contended that it has been found in the lie-detection of the two that they were lying. It also sighted the high court order in which the court had granted the permission to conduct narco-analysis on Santokben Jadeja.
