Jalandhar Unlike many other crorepati candidates who do not own a car, SAD’s Hans Raj Hans, who is contesting from Jalandhar (reserved) constituency, owns four four-wheelers, while his wife has one.

Interestingly, according to the affidavit of his spouse, Harsimrat Kaur, SAD candidate from Bathinda, Sukhbir Badal doesn’t own a car, but has two tractors.

While Hans has assets of over Rs 10.65 crore, his wife Resham Kaur’s possessions are worth Rs 12.44 lakh. Hans today filed his nomination papers in the presence of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, BJP secretary Balbir Punj, Local Bodies Minister Manoranjan Kalia and other senior party leaders. Resham filed papers as covering candidate.
