Harvest Tennis Academy to conduct AITA tourney

Jassowal (Ludhiana), February 16 Harvest Tennis Academy, village Jassowal near Ludhiana, will conduct AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls in the categories under-14 and under-16 (singles and doubles) from March 22 to 28. The is being conducted with Punjab Lawn Tennis Association and All India Tennis Association (AITA).

Players from all over India will take part in the tournament. Disclosing this here today Ms. Simmy Saran, Tournament Director, stated that the main draw for boys and girls will be of 32 players of which 20 would be direct entries, four wildcards and eight qualifiers. The draw for doubles event would be of 16 with 14 direct entries and two wildcards, while qualifying draw will be open draw.

All main draw matches will be best of three sets. The qualifying round matches will be played on March 22 and 23, while the main draw matches will be played from March 24. Interested players are required to get their names registered in the office of Harvest Tennis Academy by 6 pm on March 3 by fax at 01624-271480 or by post.
