A decision to this effect was taken in the meeting of the state executive committee of the HSGPC, chaired by founder member Sampooran Singh, held on the premises of the Dera Kar Sewa. Nine out of total eleven members of the state executive committee were present in this crucial
meeting, according to Jagdish Singh Jhinda.
However, Didar Singh Nalvi said Jhinda has already been expelled from the Haryana SGPC and has no right to remove him. “Only the 31-member executive committee has the power to remove any member,
He reiterated that Jhinda has no interest in forming a separate SGPC for Haryana and is “dancing to the tunes of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda”.
“As far as we are concerned, Raminder Singh Juneja is the Haryana SGPC president, while I am the working president and the general secretary,” said Nalvi.
Nalvi said instead of carrying out the ‘Chetna March’ scheduled for February to campaign for the separate SGPC for Haryana, Jhinda had started the 35-day-long ‘Shukrana March’ from Dabwali to mark the completion of the 300 years of the Guruta Gaddi Divas with the support of the Haryana government.
