The Punjab and Haryana High Court has called for the zimni orders of the Special CBI Court, Ambala, where the three cases registered against Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh are pending.

The directions were passed in wake of a petition filed by Singh, where he has sought quashing and stay of proceedings in the three cases pending in the trial court. He moved the HC seeking quashing of the three cases registered against him by the CBI. The Dera chief has demanded stay of proceedings in the three cases pending in Ambala Court.

The CBI had submitted a status report stating that it has already submitted three chargesheets in the lower court. While in the rape case Singh is the only accused, in two murder cases, he has been booked on the charges of criminal conspiracy.
