HC notice to Haryana govt on bail plea of fake doctor

Chandigarh, February 13 The Punjab and Haryana High Court issued notices to the Haryana government on the anticipatory bail application filed by Sandeep Sharma, a quack who was accused of impersonating as a doctor on the basis of forged certificates. The court refused to grant any interim relief to the accused. The court held that the allegations against the accused were serious and added that a stay could not be granted till the government replies to the notice. Sandeep’s advocate claimed that Sandeep was not a doctor. He said that the website of the hospital run by Sandeep had mentioned had erroneously mentioned that Sandeep was an MBBS doctor.
