A counsel of Sinha had moved a petition alleging that he had to leave Bursha village where hired CPM goons are torturing the villagers. The police have failed to ensure proper security for the locals, the counsel said.
The counsel sought judicial intervention on the prevailing situation at Bursha village. Following the submission, Justice Pranab Kumar Chatterjee asked the DGP and the Home Secretary to take adequate measures for his security, safety and livelihood.
