Ludhiana Some shoot wildlife with a gun, some with a camera. In photography, Jaskaran Singh Sandhu captures the intricacies of wildlife and his exhibition, inaugurated by Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal at the Artmosphere Arts Gallery on Saturday, bears testimony to his talent.

Titled as the ‘Victims of Mankind’, the exhibition aims to motivate people to save the environment. “It was to spread awareness that we decided to get this exhibition inaugurated by Sant Seechewal, who has for long been working for the protection of the environment,” said Sandhu.

The exhibition, which will continue till February 23, comes on the heels of a similar exhibition organised by Sandhu in Patiala recently. An engineer with the Punjab Canal Department in Chandigarh, Sandhu has visited the forests of Kahna and

Bandavgarh in Madhya Pradesh after Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh started monitoring Project Tiger.

Sandhu’s lenses have gone beyond the forests of India as he has also captured wildlife in South Africa.
