Help sought for ailing child

Ludhiana, January 5 Eleven-month-old child Ansh Kumar is admitted in Pediatric ICU of DMCH for the past two months. His father Pradeep Gupta is a daily-wage worker who migrated to the city from Jharkand few months back.

According to the doctors, Ansh Kumar is undergoing treatment for acute broncho-pneumonia with respiratory failure and has been on ventilator for the past 30 days. The condition of the patient has not yet stabilized.

The patient is in dire need of financial help as his father, being the sole earning member of the family, can hardly bear the cost of his treatment, which has already stands around Rs 1,50,000/-

On behalf of Ansh’s family, DMCH has requested people to donate generously to save Ansh’s life. All those who wish to bring back the smile to Ansh Kumar’s face and his family can contact either contact Medical Superintendent Office (4687504) or COSD Office (4687508, 98155-45311- Vikram Bhanot ) at DMCH.

All donations should be made in favour of Dayanand Medical College & Hospital and “Treatment for Ansh Kumar (C.R. No 107857)” written on backside of the cheque/DD or on the covering letter, said an official spokesperson.
